Bat Walk

Wednesday 28th July, 9.00pm – 10.30pm
An evening walk through Russia Dock Woodland and Stave Hill in search of our winged nocturnal companions with experienced bat detector Mike Fray (formerly of Bat Conservation Trust). We will be using electronic bat detectors as well, to try and identify bat activity.

There will be an introduction to bats, and the habitats they require and why this area is good for finding bats.

No pre-booking is necessary for this walk but if you could email your interest so we know approximate numbers that would be useful.

Meet at junction of Lady Dock Path and Watermans walk in Russia Dock Woodland (half way along the long dock edge path near the two cycle gates). The walk will take about 1.5 hours.
